redefining tea through mixology & sensory craft

Located steps from Place Flagey in Ixelles, Kage Lab is our dedicated innovation hub, a space where specialty tea and matcha become subjects of flavor experimentation. Designed as an immersive takeaway experience, Kage Lab bridges advanced mixology techniques, unexpected seasonal botanicals, and multi-sensory flavor profiles to push the boundaries of what tea can be.

the seasonal menu & the lab experience

Kage Lab operates on continuous transformation. Rather than a static menu, we introduce a rotating lineup of 5 to 6 unique drinks tailored to the current season/theme:

  • the making: watch your barista build complex, layered extractions using culinary and mixology techniques right in front of you.

  • the drink card: every creation is served alongside a collectible ingredient card detailing the tea and ingredients, as well tea extraction information.

  • the explanation: receive explanations on the drink and how to enjoy it best.

While Kage Lab is built for flavor exploration, you don't always have to go fancy. We also prepare high-grade classic matcha lattes, and usuchas, for those seeking a quick, comforting pick-me-up on their way through Flagey.
